Heralding a new chapter in its cinematic journey, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, India’s leading production house announces the appointment of Bhumika Tewari as the Head of Content Acquisition and Film Distribution Worldwide. Her new role signals a transformative expansion for Dharma Productions as it ventures into film distribution for the very first time.

Under Bhumika’s leadership, Dharma will focus on acquiring high-quality films across various languages,mincluding Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Marathi, while independently distributing its own productions and third-party films. It will also establish regional hubs to facilitate operations and strengthen relationships with local talent and filmmakers. These offices, located in key cities such as Delhi, Punjab, Hyderabad & Chennai among others will enable Dharma to deepen its engagement with regional industries and build a robust distribution network. This development reinforces Dharma’s vision of bringing forth diverse narratives, nurturing regional talent, and elevating Indian cinema
globally.

Her repertoire also includes programming 5,000+ titles, marketing campaigns, and driving strategic revenue initiatives across multiple languages and platforms.
